Why do we get so close to somebody,
That he hurts us like nobody.
Why do we not ask ourselves, isn’t it easy,
Then why do we let ourselves to the extent of crazy.
Isn’t this bound to happen someday,
The ones whom we trust will break it one or the other day.
Then the heart will be broken into pieces,
And the soul inside us freezes.
We give the power to a person,
Though it may be in a different version.
Maybe it’s not always our love, it can be friends,
The one who hurts is not always the one who mends.
We are then left alone to lick our wounds,
It’s not always like a new moon.
He is the one who shatters our heart,
Who is our life’s best part.
We wish we hadn’t done it again,
But we do it over and feel that pain.
